Together we will explore our wisdom, beauty and purpose as women moving into full maturity. In a lovely villa amidst an amazing Tuscan setting of olive groves and hills you can consider these questions as you reflect on what you want to do with the second half of your life.
- My Personal Spiral Exploration: How might I more fully integrate my whole self - head and heart, body and spirit? How might I reclaim the lost parts of myself given up along the way?
- Powerful Feminine Archetypes: What might I learn from ancient archetypal stories and from the stories of other women in the circle? How can I better understand my unique feminine spirituality as I explore the “Goddess within”?
- Pitfalls, Paradoxes and Possibilities of Growing Older: How might I create a more positive identity, redefine success and learn to live in the both/and paradox of a vibrant life?
- Continuing the Journey: In what ways can I continue to explore and express myself through compassionate contribution in the world?

Together we’ll enjoy a time of personal/spiritual growth and renewal through heartfelt sharing and deep listening within a circle of 12 women.
We’ll learn through presentation, conversation, music, movement, reflection and journaling.

The Villa – Casa dei Pipistrelli is a newly restored and stunningly beautiful private villa on the large agricultural estate of Montestigliano located in the heart of Tuscany, 12 miles south of Siena. Its hilltop location affords lovely views, walks through the trees, olive groves and gardens, a private pool and patios. Comfortable living spaces inside include conversation areas, a large kitchen and 7 spacious bedrooms, 2 available as singles and 5 with twin beds for double occupancy - each with private bath. The Workshop Schedule: Our week together begins with a dinner and introductory session on Saturday, September 17. We’ll convene our sessions in the mornings and mid-afternoons with free time for walks and resting after lunch. Most of our meals will be at the villa (we’ll prepare one or two together) and at nearby cafes. We are within easy travel distance to nearby towns of Siena, Florence, San Gimignano or Cortona if you’d like to spend a few days in the area before or after the retreat. During our free time you’ll find the Chianti country with wine tasting also easily accessible or you may simply want to stay at the villa to relax, take a Tuscan cooking class or enjoy a massage. We’ll close after breakfast on Saturday, September 24.
